I believe that we all have an inherent responsibility to be good stewards of our community and I want to serve in order to make a difference to ensure the future and prosperity of Dunedin. I bring a fresh viewpoint that is grounded in my service to the United States Navy to include, providing executive leadership, managing large organizations and projects with direct oversight of personnel, financial and infrastructure resources.
Accomplishments & Impacts (Current Term)
- Protecting Vulnerable Residents
After Hurricane Helene, I stood with families along Cedar Creek to see the flooding devastation firsthand. I pressed for—and delivered—stronger stormwater solutions and partnerships so our most vulnerable residents aren’t left behind in future storms.
Delivering a Reopened Marina
Following Hurricanes Debbie, Helene, and Milton, many believed our Marina would be closed for two years. I fought for a phased reopening plan, and because of that persistence, the Marina welcomed boaters again this June.
Active Community Leadership
Beyond City Hall, I’ve rolled up my sleeves as a leader in local service organizations—strengthening our community through volunteerism and engagement.
- Re-Election Platform (Priorities)
- Strengthening City Infrastructure
- Invest in reliable water, wastewater, and stormwater systems—protecting residents, businesses, and neighborhoods from future risks.
- Balanced Growth & Vibrant Economy
- Support managed growth and strong local businesses that protect Dunedin’s charm while ensuring a thriving economy for the future.
- Building Resiliency for Tomorrow
- Apply hard lessons from Hurricanes Debbie, Helene, and Milton to strengthen recovery systems, build resilient infrastructure, and safeguard every neighborhood.
